Business Communication.
Does your business communication represent you as credible and professional to your clients and subscribers, to your internal teams, and among colleagues in your field?
Learn how I’ve worked with these clients to capture their voices and create ambassadors out of their audiences:
Rochester Restoration
Rochester Restoration is a family-owned full-service fire and water damage restoration contractor, equipped to handle every phase of property loss, from emergency response and cleanup to complete reconstruction. They deal with the aftermath of house fires and floods, water damage, and mold remediation, and other losses. So, it’s critical for them to regularly communicate what they do to people who are positioned to get them quickly connected with property owners in need.
Services for Rochester Restoration include case study-driven monthly eNewsletters to insurance agents and commercial property managers.

Ardent Group
Ardent Group provides fundraising and development services to elevate compassionate and innovative nonprofits. One way they do that is through inspired and thoughtful content and graphic design for newsletters, appeals, websites, social media, brochures, and invitations.
In the case of Person Centered Housing Options (PCHO), an organization that addresses chronic homelessness in Rochester, New York, Ardent Group is collecting and telling success stories. These stories are shared on the PCHO website and in communications with PCHO supporters.
Services for Ardent Group includes conducting interviews, collecting audio, and writing about the lived experiences of these formerly un-housed individuals.

Everyday Hands
Everyday Hands provides help with ordinary everyday tasks—sitting with an elderly neighbor for companionship, chaperoning people to and from simple medical procedures, helping people live with more independence, and just being an extra set of hands anytime. When owner Lauren Goetz communicates with her audiences, she needs to consistently and clearly show all the ways she helps, from social media to client letters/email.
Examples of topics for Everyday Hands: 1) Writing the social media post sharing the story of assisting a client whose pet was very ill and ultimately reached the end of its life. 2) Writing a client letter to communicate a price increase. 3) Brand-savvy monthly e-newsletter promoting services through success stories.

Geneva Visitors Guide
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in marketing Geneva, New York, as the gateway to the Finger Lakes.
In 2014, they asked for my help as they reformatted their guide to portray a weekend visit to Geneva and the Finger Lakes. The following year, they asked me to complete an updated version. The Geneva Chamber’s 2014 and 2015 visitors guides were distributed throughout the region wherever tourism materials are found.
